What is Swiftener?

Swiftener is a free platform of focused web apps for everyday work with files, media, documents, math, and code — plus project tutorials you can follow step by step. Open a suite, finish the job in your tab, and move on. Most tools do not require an account.

This home page lists project tutorials — multi-part builds with runnable GitHub snapshots. Use the top navbar to open tool suites (Audio, Image, PDF, Video, Math, Development, Network, and Productivity) when you need a utility in your browser.

How privacy works across suites

Browser-first tools (for example ImageTools, MathTools, Productivity, and many Development editors) process your inputs in the tab. Images and snippets stay on your device for those jobs.

Server-assisted tools (Audio, PDF, Video, and some Network checks) use our servers when that is the honest way to get quality — for example ffmpeg encoding. Uploads exist for the length of the job and are not kept as a permanent personal library. Each suite lists its privacy note in the footer; the full policy is on Privacy.

Analytics and Google ads only run after you Accept cookies. Until then, Consent Mode defaults keep ad and analytics storage denied. Details: Cookie Policy.

Who it is for

  • Students who need a quick convert, chart, or language playground without installing IDEs
  • Freelancers cleaning PDFs, audio, or video between client calls
  • Learners following project Tutorials with runnable GitHub snapshots
  • Anyone who wants utilities that explain when data leaves the browser

Guides and lessons

Beyond the tool UIs themselves, Swiftener publishes original how-to guides on this domain — swiftener.com/guides — covering privacy, safer file conversion, PDFs, audio, images, coding playgrounds, network checks, and project learning paths. Hands-on app builds live on Tutorials. Learn more about the project on About, or reach us via Contact.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No for most tools. Sign-in is optional for features like account-gated monitors.

Are the tools really free?

Yes. Hosting is supported in part by Google AdSense after cookie consent. The product is the utility, not a paywall. See the Disclaimer for advertising limits.

Where should I start?

Pick a tutorial above, read a guide, or open About Swiftener for how browser-first and server-assisted tools differ.

How do cookies and ads work?

Consent Mode defaults deny analytics and ad storage until you Accept. Details are in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, including Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info opt-outs.
