Swiftener ("we", "us") operates swiftener.com and linked tool subdomains. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. For a non-legal overview of the product, see About Swiftener.
What we collect
- Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics. Aggregated activity metrics may be reviewed by platform administrators.
- Files you upload: Tool suites that process files on the server (audio, PDF, video) temporarily handle uploads to perform the requested operation. Files are not stored permanently unless a specific tool states otherwise.
- Client-side tools: Some suites (e.g. ImageTools, MathTools, Productivity) process data entirely in your browser and do not send file contents to our servers for those jobs.
- Accounts (optional): If you create a Swiftener account, we store email, profile fields you provide, authentication data, and feature-specific records tied to signed-in features.
- Support messages: If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we keep the conversation long enough to resolve your request.
- Cookies and similar technologies: Essential preferences (for example theme), and — only after you Accept — analytics and advertising technologies described below.
How we use information
We use collected information to operate and improve the services, prevent abuse, maintain security, provide optional account features, and — with your consent — measure traffic and show ads that help fund hosting. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies for essential site functionality, preferences (e.g. theme), anonymous usage analytics when you Accept, and Google ads (AdSense). Consent Mode defaults keep analytics and ad storage denied until you Accept. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Advertising and Google AdSense disclosures
Swiftener uses Google AdSense to display advertisements that help cover hosting and maintenance. Ads are not required to use the tools themselves.

- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

Third-party services
With your consent, we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use Swiftener (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser, and anonymized session replays/heatmaps via Clarity). Individual tool suites may also load fonts or scripts from CDNs (e.g. Google Fonts, language runtimes). Those providers have their own privacy policies.
Data retention
Server logs are retained for a limited period needed for security and operations. Uploaded files on processing servers are deleted after the job completes or within a short retention window. Account data remains until you request deletion or close the account, subject to legal retention needs. Error and activity diagnostics may be stored to improve reliability.
International visitors
Servers may be located outside your country. By using Swiftener you understand that information may be processed in the regions where we host infrastructure and where our service providers operate. Visitors in the EU/UK see a consent banner for non-essential cookies; analytics and ad storage remain denied until Accept.
Children
Swiftener is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Your rights
